Wow, this has been one HOT summer to date around the DMV - but we like it hot here so no complaints at all!

There's just so much to see and do here in the DMV and we've been running about seeing and doing most of it so far this summer - hopefully we'll run into you while we're at it; we think you'll look great in front of the camera in the beautiful summer sunshine!

Let me advise you who are interested in our work to stop back through the blog regularly because this year you're going to see more annoucements and special giveaways here than ever before! For those who've expressed interest, I am currently working on some plans to offer photography workshops in the DC/MD/VA area for this summer - if you have any ideas for workshops that you'd like to see us offer feel free to drop me a line!

We've been blessed to have worked with some incredibly beautiful people during this year, many of whom are featured on the pages below; we just want to say THANK YOU for your support to all of our great customers and friends of Photo Fanatic Photography.

We spent a recent afternoon with the lovely and talented Kerri, who chose an excellent location for her work - the National Portrait Gallery in DC! What better place to go for some portraits?? 

We had a great time and enjoyed the art displays while snapping some shots that I hope were successful in bringing out the 'essence' of Kerri in all her verve...

Spent a late afternoon shooting with Krista in the first of what will be several photo shoots for this summer. I think it was a good day, Krista was a lot of fun and made it a really easy shoot for me - here are a few favs from the session...keep an eye out for more to come :)

I am hoping everyone is out enjoying themselves on this fantastic day! The weather here in the DMV is really cooperating for the holiday and that's always a welcome sight.
