Spring is here people and we're lovin' every minute of it! This is probably my favorite time of year - the sun is shining, things are blooming and it's probably the best time to get out and have some portraits done!! (hint hint) :) 

We've been blessed to have worked with some incredibly beautiful people this past year, many of whom are featured on the pages below; we just want to say THANK YOU for your support to all of our great customers and friends of Photo Fanatic Photography.

I still just love it when a plan comes together, as that guy from the A Team used to say (ok, so I'm old...sue me!).

You may remember Wade and Ayana from their engagement photos a while back, their big day finally came to pass and by all accounts it couldnt have been a more perfect affair. We laughed and danced and cried and everything in between, these folks are an awesome couple and I feel honored and privileged to have been able to enjoy their wedding day with them!

Before moving on with the photos, I also wanted to give a big 'high five' to Gretchen Williams, who did a fantastic job of managing the day's events from start to finish, as well as Holly Chapple for her superb floral arrangements, the ladies of Dolce Video for their excellent work and professionalism and the good folks at the Thomas Birkby House who were ultra accommodating and just a real pleasure to work with!

Spent some time on a nice sunny afternoon with the lovely Mitsue, who was interested in some portraits of her two beautiful children, Mikaella & Gabriel, while it turned out that said children were mostly interested in chasing down and capturing what must have been hundreds of little baby toads that were hopping about in the area...

Kids will be kids, so whaddayagonnado? We took pictures of them as they basically ignored us and went toad hunting LOL...every so often there was a lull in the hunt and they did some other cool things too :)

Here is yet another pictorial love story in this never ending summer of love! Carla and Ted were married on a beautiful sunny day in May where everything came out as perfect as the smiles on their faces and the love in their eyes.

I cant get enough of couples like this in my life, it makes me feel privileged and honored that they chose me to share in their most timeless of moments on their wedding day!

Geoffery and Barbara got married and we were there to see it all unfold!

The ceremony was on a beautiful summer day at Brookside Gardens, where the clouds and rain were kind enough to stay away just long enough for the ceremony to finish and the guests and wedding party to head off to the reception at The Mansion on O Street in DC.

BTW, I have a hunch that Tiffany of Distinguished Designs had something to do with the weather holding out, as she was on top of every other thing that day!

I thought everything went very well, maybe you can tell by the smiles on the faces and in the eyes of the folks in the pictures that follow - congratulations to Barbara and Geoffery one more time!
